Views from the Coll de Cabús, 3.5 km from the town of Tor.

The town has become famous for a truculent story about the ownership of the mountain that has been going on for a century, and which has already led to three murders. The value of this mountain is defined by its strategic location, since it is one of the steps between Andorra and Pallars Sobirà passing through Port de Cabús at 2,301 meters of altitude, and also by the fact that on the Andorran side are the Massana and Pal ski resorts that make up the Vallnord complex.

Therefore, apart from the struggle for the property of the mountain, formerly for the exploitation of the wood, there must be added the struggle for its use between the companies with real estate aspirations who saw the area as the natural extension of the aforementioned ski resorts and the smugglers who used the port to smuggle mainly tobacco. The fact that the pass on the Andorran side consists of a 7 meter wide perfectly paved road that ends on the unpaved track on the Pallares side is still curious.
