The Decluttering Tapes

Decluttering for women who don’t want to declutter.

Press play and I’ll declutter right beside you, until the pile you’ve been avoiding is finally gone.

From Stacey, host of The Next Phase Podcast and a mom with ADHD who spent 9+ years in a disaster zone. I decluttered 10 spaces in my home in 2 months with these tapes, and now you can declutter alongside me anytime.

Why I made the Decluttering Tapes

Hi, I’m Stacey.

I’m the host of The Next Phase Podcast, and a mom with ADHD who spent 9+ years living in a disaster zone. I could never find anything. Ever.

When I finally started decluttering, I wasn't trying to make a pretty house. I wanted a house that would stop holding me back from the things I actually wanted to do.

So I did what you’ve probably done. I “studied” decluttering: the books, the methods, the Instagram posts. And my house stayed exactly the same.

Then I realized I didn’t need more instruction. I just needed to do it, and I needed to do it alongside other women who struggled just like me.

So I started hosting weekly body doubling sessions for my podcast community. For almost a year, women showed up every week, and cleared entryways, put away laundry piles, purged their fridges, and finally filled out the paperwork they’d been dreading.

The Decluttering Tapes are that same experience, on demand. Press play whenever you’re ready, and I’ll be right there with you.

You already know how to declutter

You’ve read the books, learned the methods, saved the instagram posts, and bought the organizers at Target.

And yet, your house is still full of stuff you don't know what to do with.

  • You can't find the paperwork when you need it.
  • Your kitchen counter has become the place where everything goes because nothing has a place.
  • Those garbage bags you've been meaning to take to Goodwill are still in your trunk.

Every day feels like an emergency because you can never find what you need when you need it.

The problem isn’t that you don’t know what to do. It’s that you can’t seem to get yourself to do it.

So how can I help you actually do it?

It's called BODY DOUBLING.

It means to have somebody "there with you" while you are decluttering. And because they are there, you're more motivated to do it too. You’re held accountable. It’s the difference between staring at the pile alone and having a friend standing next to you saying, ‘Alright friend, let’s start with this one.’

The Decluttering Tapes are body doubling on demand.

I am going to be there, decluttering right alongside with you, from your junk drawer to your master closet, and everything in between.

These aren't videos to watch or listen to while you're driving or cooking dinner. They're videos to put on while you are actually decluttering.

By the end of each tape, you’ll have one less pile weighing on you.

Here's how it works.

  1. Pick a tape. Choose whichever space has been bothering you.
  2. Press play. Get your supplies together and follow along.
  3. Actually do it. Work on your space while I work on mine.
  4. Feel the relief. You now have one less space weighing on you.

Instant access after purchase. Watch on your phone, tablet, or laptop.

What's On The Tapes

Pick the space that’s been bothering you and start there.

Each tape is a real decluttering session you can follow along with, start to finish.

Here's what's on the tapes (with more to come!):

  • The Doom Basket (32 min): Empty the basket that’s been collecting everything (and actually put the things away).
  • The Linen Closet (52 min): Go through the old sheets, match the sets, and actually know which sets belong on which beds for once.
  • THAT messy drawer (46 min): Empty it all out and actually decide what belongs and what doesn't. By the end, you should be able to open and close the drawer without shoving it's contents down with your hand.
  • The Playroom Part 1 (22 min) + Part 2 (53 min): Go through the old toys that they don't play with anymore, get rid of the homemade stuff that's falling apart, and actually make a place for each toy so they know where to put it when they're done with it.
  • Master Closet Part 1 (48 min) and Part 2 (45 min): Clear the floor underneath the clothes and actually determine a real spot for them. Get rid of the clothes that don't fit you, or don't feel like you anymore. And bonus: Put everything in rainbow order and add some art so you enjoy walking into it.
  • The Art Stuff (22 min): The markers, the crayons, the glitter, the paint, the Play-doh. Gather it all together, trash the dried out supplies, and organize it in a way that your kids will actually use.
  • The Fridge (35 min): Go deep in the back and get out the moldy food, wash the shelves and drawers with soapy water, and put the foods back that you actually want to eat.
  • The Desk (39 min): Take out the pile of papers, unpaid bills, and rogue office supplies. By the time you're done, you'll be able to sit at your desk and actually grab a pen and a post-it with ease.
  • The Goodwill Trip (1 min): Come with me to Goodwill to actually drop off those donation bags.
  • The Annoying Task (2 min): Get that little annoying task done you've been putting off that -- when you do it, -- you realize only takes a couple of minutes. Mine is registering a special toy for a lifetime warranty.

How long has that pile been sitting there?

We keep telling ourselves the same things:

I’ll do it when I have a free weekend.

I’ll do it when the kids are at school.

I’ll do it when the kids are older.

I hate to tell you this, but it’s not coming.

You finally have a way to start before you feel ready: press play, and I’ll start with you.

Ready to finally feel the relief of having it done?

Imagine finding the paperwork on the first try.

Clearing the counter. Taking the bags to Goodwill.

Walking past that pile and realizing it’s gone.

You don’t need the perfect time. You just need to start.
