Case study on Public Health

In order to guide effective policies and responses, health concerns at the nexus of human rights, ethics, and global health require rigorous analysis. This set of case studies explores two important public health issues: obesity associated with sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption and the ongoing HIV epidemic. These case studies use a critical perspective to examine the complex network of variables affecting health outcomes, as well as ethical issues and potential directions for public health improvement.
