Ayako Fujiki - Ko-da-ma (CD)
Physical CD: Ko-da-ma — Original Music by Ayako Fujiki
Ko-da-ma is Ayako Fujiki’s original album, inspired by the 6,000-year-old yakusugi cedar trees of Yakushima. The word kodama carries the meaning of both a presence within trees and an echo — reflected in the way sounds emerge, respond, and resonate throughout the music.
Entirely written by Ayako Fujiki and carefully recorded in studio, the album captures a natural, organic sound shaped by space, silence, and resonance. Piano-led textures unfold slowly, inviting a quiet dialogue between piano, cello, and violin.
This physical edition invites a slower, more tactile way of listening — to hold the music, to sit with it, and to experience the delicate balance between sound and stillness.
