The Salon Foundations Training series exists because that's just not good enough anymore.
This is Tier 1 of The Solstice certification curriculum, a structured, from-scratch training series built for tanning salon employees who are brand new to the industry or never got a real foundation to begin with.

- The three types of tanning services and how they work
- How a salon's service and retail ecosystem fits together
- Why your knowledge as an employee directly drives revenue
- Professionalism standards on and off the clock
- Client communication, soft selling, and how to recommend without pressure
- Spray tan prep, application, and aftercare education
- Product knowledge and ingredient literacy
- Suggestive selling, bundling, and the soft close
How it works:
Each module includes a video lesson, a fillable workbook, and a graded quiz. Students must score 85% or higher to receive their certificate. This is designed to be completed independently, making it easy for salon owners to onboard new hires without pulling senior staff off the floor.
