Photo Booth Booking & Event Starter Toolkit — 14 Files for Launching a Photo Booth Side Business
What this is
A starter toolkit for launching a photo booth rental side business — gear checklists, a pricing worksheet, contract and cancellation templates, a quote form, an event-day runbook, marketing scripts, a lead-tracker and job-calculator workbook, an insurance primer, a client intake survey, and a worked sample booking.
### What this is not
It is a starter toolkit, not a turnkey business: it gives you the paperwork and the process; your market, prices, and effort decide the outcome. It does not include a photo booth, a camera, a printer, or booth software. Gear guidance helps you decide between capture device, enclosure and software tier — the buying is yours.

### Honest limitations — please read before buying
- **Every price inside is an EXAMPLE — replace with your own.** Sample package prices, deposits and fees are placeholders. They are not typical, and they are not what you should charge.
- **This kit contains no income projections, on purpose.** It gives you a calculator for your own numbers; it does not forecast your earnings. *This plan prepares you to book; it does not promise bookings.*
- **Legal and insurance content is general information, not advice.** The agreement is a starting point for a local attorney to review. For insurance: *verify requirements with a licensed insurance agent in your state* — ideally before your first paid event.
- **No hardware and no software.** A booth, camera, printer and booth software are your purchases. The gear document explains the trade-offs; a digital-only offer (QR delivery) is a legitimate starting point without a printer.
- **Documents are laid out for US Letter.** If you work in A4, check pagination before printing for a client.
- **Workbook compatibility:** the calculator's formulas were recalculated in LibreOffice Calc during QA and produced the expected results. We have not tested every spreadsheet application or version — open it in your own before an event you depend on it for.
- **Licence:** for the purchaser's own business use only. Not for resale.
### FAQ
**Does this include a photo booth or software?**
No. It's documents: contracts, worksheets, checklists, scripts and a workbook. The gear file helps you decide what to buy.
**Will this tell me what to charge?**
It gives you the framework — pricing worksheet, deposit logic, a cancellation ladder, hidden-costs checklist and a job calculator where you enter your own costs, hours and target. The sample numbers in the files are examples you replace.
**Is the contract ready to sign as-is?**
It is a fill-in template with a signature block, built to be reviewed by a local attorney before you use it. Terms you must fill in yourself, and law varies by state.
**Do I get the cancellation policy already written?**
Yes — the same ladder appears in the pricing worksheet, the one-page card (attach it to every quote) and §7 of the agreement, so your documents agree with each other.
**Can I edit the marketing scripts?**
Yes. The Marketing Scripts file is a DOCX with the same content as the PDF, so you can rewrite them in your own voice.
**Does it cover photo consent?**
Yes — consent rules appear in the agreement (§9), the marketing pack and the insurance primer, with the same wording in each.
**What do I need to open the files?**
A PDF reader for the eight PDFs, a word processor for the five DOCX files, and a spreadsheet application for the workbook.
**Is anything physical shipped?**
No. Instant digital download, 14 files.
