I should hate Otto. Should fight him. But when he catches me on my knees in front of his best friend, all he does is lean against the doorframe and smirk. “Don’t stop on my account.”

And I don’t.

Because I’m sick. Twisted. Ruined by the way he watches me like he already owns me. And maybe… maybe he does.

Jude is the good guy. The one who actually asks before he takes. Who whispers sweet things against my throat while he fists my hair and tells me I deserve better. But Otto? Otto doesn’t ask.

He claims. He gets off on pushing me to the edge, on making me shatter while he watches from the shadows—hands in his pockets, mouth twitching like he’s above it all.

Like he doesn’t ache to be the one touching me.

Like he hasn’t already ruined me for anyone else.

But that’s not even my biggest problem. Because now my stepdad is getting involved. And the last time I told him no… he made sure I wouldn’t try it again.

I should run. Should pick the boy who won’t break me just to see what’s inside.

But then Otto leans in, breath hot at my ear. “If you want him, take him. I want to see how pretty you look when you’re full of him.”



And I realize—I was never running.

I was waiting for him to catch me.
