Grid Liner

Animated grid layouts for After Effects.

Grid Liner is an After Effects panel for grid-based motion design. Select a layer and press Apply Grid: the grid is built around it and follows it when it moves or scales. Put images, video and text inside the cells, then press Animate. A mouse cursor grabs the grid and drags it, and everything inside the cells moves with it. Every change in the panel updates your comp instantly. No presets to fight, no expressions to write.

What it does

• Apply Grid: a grid around any layer (image, video, text, shape) or on the whole comp, in one click
• Live editing: change columns and rows, drag the lines in the preview
• Attach: place layers inside cells with Stretch, Fit in or Move. They follow their cell when the grid animates
• Animate: grid motions, Reveal In / Reveal Out, and a mouse cursor that drags the grid
• Styles: one-click looks, plus full control of lines and points (color, thickness, dashes, 12 point shapes)
• Light and dark panel theme
• Free updates, with an update notice inside the panel
