Fear of getting hit by pitch worksheet bundle
Fear of getting hit by a pitch can change everything about an at-bat. A player may back away, freeze, or stop trusting what they know how to do.
The fear makes sense. Maybe they have been hit before, watched someone else get hit, or faced a pitcher who felt fast and out of control. Their brain is trying to protect them. But simply saying, “Don’t be scared,” doesn’t give them a plan.
This 7-page printable mini playbook helps young baseball players understand their fear and learn what to do when it shows up.
Inside, your player will:
• Understand where the fear may have started
• Notice the scary “movie” their brain keeps playing
• Finish that movie by seeing the whole story
• Learn the Challenger Mindstance
• Build an at-bat plan using focus, words, body, and behavior
• Practice five simple mental reps each day
• Put everything together into one plan they can remember
The goal is not to make fear disappear before they step into the box. It is to help them recognize it, prepare for the hard moment, and still be willing to take on the challenge.
Fear can be there. They can still step in.
Includes short explanations, kid-friendly prompts, checkboxes, and a simple practice tracker.
