When she meets the friend he helps her to hop on one leg towards the car. On the way they remove the sock from Emily's foot and Emily continues to hop along he street with the help of the friend until they finally reach the car. The sock is put on again and then the friend drives Emily to her parents house, where he helps her again to hop on one leg to the house.
