This was such a sweet story. I enjoyed the framing of Albie’s struggles with his identity in the form of his designation. I hope that bit of fantasy will help put this genuine struggle in a context that is not met with a harsh emotional response. He’s just a man who knows in his heart that he’s an Omega, so he takes steps to make it reality. 🥹

Yes, this is a spicy erotic novella, but set this story apart was the identity struggles Albie was so transparent about. From the beginning, we (the reader) were able to feel his sadness at the possibility of staying a Beta and his happiness when he “officially” became an Omega.

Even with the serious theme, it was still such a cute read. Albie nesting in the background of a pickup truck without even realizing it was so adorable 🤭 I loved how Keane was so determined to make Albie’s first heat as comfortable as possible.

This was just a fun, spicy novella and I really enjoyed it.
