RG33 AUV MRAP
The RG-33 AUV (Armored Utility Vehicle) is a 6x6 mine-resistant, ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle developed by BAE Systems for the U.S. military. Based on the South African-designed RG-series, the RG-33 is built with a V-shaped hull to deflect blasts from mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The AUV variant is a larger configuration designed for utility roles, offering increased space for troops, equipment, or mission-specific modules.
It provides seating for up to 10 occupants, with high levels of ballistic and blast protection. The RG-33 AUV is often fitted with remote weapon stations and can support command, ambulance, or route-clearance missions. It combines survivability, off-road capability, and modular design, making it a versatile platform for combat support operations.
