When Jeremy Tedos received a request to deliver a "special package" from the planet Gunggos to a Shengtai Imperium base, he did not expect the cargo to be a pregnant woman named Yarra Ducovic. The mission seemed straightforward enough until a veiled woman pressed a data tablet into his hand. The moment he touched it, the device pricked his thumb and extracted his DNA, binding his identity to the job. Jeremy realized too late that he had become part of the cargo himself.

After evading corporate security patrols, he reached the hidden laboratory on Gunggos. A second pregnant woman in a crimson cloak, likely a member of the Shengtai Imperium's elite Sisters of the Crimson Cloak, led him to a cryo pod. Inside, suspended in stasis, was Yarra. The Sister warned him sternly not to touch the pod or open it under any circumstances. Jeremy loaded the pod onto his battered freighter, The Wanderer's Lament, and departed.

Once in deep space, curiosity got the better of him. He stood before the frosted glass, watching Yarra float in the stasis gel. Her beauty was striking, and he found himself staring, then aroused. As his desire grew, the pod's stabilizer integrity began dropping. The woman inside stirred, her fingers twitching against the glass. Despite the warnings echoing in his mind, Jeremy could not look away. His touch, his breath fogging the surface, his rising arousal—all of it triggered something in the pod's occupant. Yarra's eyes flew open, pale blue and terrified, just as the glass fractured. Amniotic fluid exploded outward, and she tumbled into his arms.

Exhausted afterward, Jeremy fell into a deep dream. He found himself on a surreal cliffside beside a vast river, with Yarra reclining beside him, still heavily pregnant. A dragon watched over them as strange creatures stirred in the water below. In the dream, Yarra revealed her true origin. She was once a violent man named Yar Ducovic, a predator captured by the Shengtai Imperium. The Sisters of the Crimson Cloak used advanced bio-nanotechnology to transform him into her current form, remaking her from violence into perpetual motherhood. She explained that the dream was not merely a dream but a nanite link, allowing him to understand her past and preparing him for their shared future. She declared that she was now his, body and soul, with him as her son and her as his pregnant mother.

When Jeremy awoke, the lines between reality and the nanite link had blurred. Yarra looked at him with eyes that held both devotion and expectation, and she offered to make him her own son and master. The only question that remained was whether he would accept her claim, or if the man who had spent his life running from connection would finally surrender to the one bond he could never escape.
