CECS Recertification Program
A 15-hour (1.5 CEU) refresher program to help you get recertified with IKECA
Program Overview
The CECS Recertification Program is designed to help busy professionals stay current and maintain their credentials with ease. The course is fully on-demand and led by industry experts, so you can learn at your own pace, whenever it fits your schedule. Once you complete the program, you’ll get a certificate of completion that you can submit for recertification approval. It’s a simple, practical way to keep your skills sharp and show your commitment to staying at the top of your field.
Continuing Education
The program serves as a refresher on all the key areas of your certification, including Basic System Components, Specialized System Components, Procedures for the Inspection and Maintenance of System Components, Chemical and Environmental Considerations, Solid Fuel and Mobile Cooking Operations, Common Safety Issues and best practices. It’s not about teaching the work from scratch, but about reinforcing your knowledge, updating you on current standards, and ensuring you stay confident and informed in your role. Through clear explanations and expert insights, you’ll revisit the core concepts that matter most, so you can continue performing at a high level while meeting industry expectations.
