Tangled Star Runner

This runner finishes at about 17 x 51 inches and features three 12 inch Tangled Star blocks set on point. Full illustrated instructions are given for making the block using either templates and machine- or hand-piecing and the templates are provided in the pattern. A foundation-piecing pattern is also included - the block has been modified slightly to make this method easier. The holly quilting design is included in the pattern as well. My runner is done in Christmas colours, but it looks great in other colourways as well. This should possibly not be your first attempt at patchwork, but is not too difficult if you go slowly and carefully.
