Annette does not celebrate Valentine's day. However, her attempts to ignore the holiday crumble when she discovers a barely-clad butt in her bushes. Someone's out to kidnap an unexpectedly powerless Cupid, and now it's up to Annette to resolve things.

Contains excessive amounts of unicorn poo and immortal gods who don't remember to chew. This has-little-to-do-with-love-story is best read with a cup of wine, tea, or coffee in hand. Readers are cordially reminded that Annette will not intervene in ill-advised choking incidents.

Author's Note: This is not your deliciously sizzling romantic fantasy. There is no love involved at all, in fact. This story is for those who spend their Valentine's Day on the sofa with a fluffy blanket around their shoulders, a box of (self-bought) chocolates on the coffee table, and a cup of wine in one hand. Here's to interminable hours of studiously ignoring relationship status. Let your life be cozy, independent, delicious, and - above all - humorous. And not dotted with unicorn poo.
