Later Squared Bag Pattern
The Later Squared Bag Pattern includes the instructions to create your very own quilt inspired large travel bag. The name of the pattern comes from what I imagined you would say when you were leaving in the 80s and 90s when I was growing up and fits right in with my other quilt pattern names.
Originally my mom wanted me to create a bag pattern that she could use as an overnight (or two) bag and would be sturdy enough to basically use in place of a drawer. I wanted a bag pattern that was different, showcasing a mini quilt on each side of your bag, uninterrupted by pockets or zippers or straps.
Pattern is best for intermiediate sewists and is helpful if you have made a quilt and bag before. However, instructions are detailed and would be appropriate for Confident beginners.
Finished bag measurements: 15" tall by 15" wide by 10" deep. It's a rather large and roomy bag.
