Lowlands Away is a ballad, or maybe a shanty with an extra dose of sentimentality. It tells the story of loss out at sea. This arrangement is in 4 parts (SATB). The verses can be shared around - I tend to start with a bass solo, then a small group, then a fuller sound for the 3rd verse, and back to a solo at the end - but feel free to shape it however you see fit.
