Losing Love, Finding Me

I know God can do anything, and Dorothy is a living testimony of that truth. I want to challenge you to do something for me, share this book with someone you think will benefit from this book and ask God to place someone on your heart who needs to read this. So often, we allow ourselves to believe the enemy’s lie that we’re too far gone, too messed up, or that we’ve done too much wrong for God to forgive us. We have all fallen victim to the lie that God doesn’t love us, so we stay away from the church and from our family and friends who would pray for us. You’re not too far gone. If you’re reading this book, you’re right where you need to be for the love of God to reach you and start a great turnaround in your life! There’s no greater love than the love of our Lord. Here's a little about the author:

After several failed marriages, Dorothy learned many poignant lessons. She gained the strength to accept that things just didn't work out. She accepted that some things were never meant to be, and embraced her flaws. You may need to recognize that certain things are just not meant to be, no matter how hard you try. Sometimes, you're so controlling that letting go feels like a failure. Sometimes you're the problem and it's perfectly fine to confess that. None of the men in her life were saved, and she knew it. Still, she married them because she was saved and wanted to live righteously in the eyes of God and the church people. Ultimately, she made a mess of things by marrying to please naysayers and not considering the consequences of her actions.

She survived each poor decision by asking God to help me stick it out because of her commitment to her marriage. On August 9, 2021, she let go and let God give my life a new beginning. With this new outlook on life, she looks forward to enjoying every day like it is her last. She serves the people of God by feeding the homeless and beautifying His people from the inside out at the Beauty for Ashes Boutique.
