A1.  Employees’ Rights and Responsibilities

·         Employees have the right to be free of retaliation of any kind. An employee should not have to fear being retaliated against when they report a situation or issue which involves the company or another employee in wrong-doing.  When an employee does not have trust that they can bring a situation or issue forward without being retaliated against, they will not speak up.  This can create a hostile work environment by managing through fear and intimidation and in turn, reduces morale and trust an employee will have with their work and company.
