Learning Lab Free Reference Card
Times tables stick when a learner can rebuild a fact they forgot. Every strategy on this card starts from a fact your student already knows!
The front walks through 13 strategies in four families, in the order to teach them. The anchors come first (×0, ×1, ×2, ×5, ×10), then doubling for ×4 and ×8, then one group off for ×3, ×6, ×9, ×11, and ×12, and finally break it apart for ×7. Each strategy has a worked example in student and supportive guardian-friendly language.
The back is a fact map of all 100 facts in a mark-it-yourself times table. Each time a fact comes back quickly three days in a row, color in its square and watches the map fill up.
