I'm a Hamsbat! E-book 6+ years
🐹🦇 I’m a HamsBat!
A funny, heartfelt, and educational adventure about courage, belonging, and being accepted just as you are.
Hasan is a clever Syrian hamster with one big dream: to fly like a bat. After losing his family and home, he travels through unfamiliar towns and villages, searching for safety and a place to belong.
Along the way, Hasan meets suspicious mice, frightening cats, a helpful eagle, and several animals hiding behind bat disguises. His journey finally leads him to Fruitsville, where he finds friendship, a new home, and a future filled with delicious fig jam!
Through Hasan’s adventure, children learn fascinating facts about bats—including their eyesight and hearing, how they hang upside down, what different bats eat, and how fruit bats help pollinate flowers. The story also gently explores displacement, prejudice, misunderstandings, kindness, identity, and accepting others without asking them to change who they are.
Filled with colorful illustrations, playful characters, humor, adventure, and meaningful lessons, I’m a HamsBat! is ideal for reading aloud or independent reading.
