THE WITCHES OF FOOTEREST

This is a short story about witches and the impact they had on the lives of those who lived and worked in and around the mythical Village of Footerest during three very different periods on earth  -  800 B.C., 1600 A.D. and the present as we know it today.
 
         This story came to me in a bad dream that evolved out of a week’s stay twenty years ago at an RV campground in Pennsylvania that was overrun by rabbits.  I hope it doesn’t foster a bad dream in you. Read it and find out if it does.
