Gauge

In stockinette stitch: 10cm / 4“ = 18 stitches and 26 rows

Materials

I recommend using multiple strands of yarn held together for the typical Chanel-Effect. Alternatively any yarn matching the gauge, worsted weight (approximately 80-90m/90-100yds per 50g).

Do not use highly twisted yarns - instead use yarns that block well and keep their shape after blocking.

4.5-5mm/US 7-8 needles, or size needed for gauge; 80-100cm/32-40” circulars

And 1 needle 1 size smaller, optional double pointed needles of same size, crochet hook,

8 stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle, matching cable needle or helping needle, cable needle 1-2sizes smaller for the knit edge/front band.
