In the afternoon Emily is preparing to go to a XMAS party. She has put on a black nylon pantyhose and a nice Dress and crutches down the stairs, then she tries to put on some very high heeled winter-shoes for the party. She is not able to fit her swollen left foot in the left shoe but she anyway tries to crutch around with the foot in the shoe, but it simply does not work, she cannot close the shoe and her foot hurts too much. So she takes the right shoe off again.
