Leadership & management for early childhood education 2018

The management handbook has always been a very practical tool for any current, new or aspiring manager or head teacher of an early childhood service. It is reviewed annually to ensure its contents hold the most current information. This year there has been a big update; so big in fact we have to purchase new ring binds to hold all the information together!

Inside you will find a new section on governance as well as a new section on health and safety. The health and safety section includes an example of a hazard register we all have to have in place in our services and be reviewing annually in accordance with the Health and Safety act of 2015. We have also updated our new employees checklist, outings record, medicine record, maintenance record, weekly safe food records and so many more templates that you will find incredibly useful.
