This pattern includes a planner which you can colour in to keep track of your moods.
The Moody Blanket will be a super cosy blanket and at the same time - a unique visual diary of your moods. Each square will represent a week and you will choose a colour each day to represent your mood from a palette of five colours.
You can choose to knit the small Moody Blanket over approx six months for a lovely cosy sofa blanket. Or you can knit for a full year to make the large Moody Blanket which would sit nicely across a double bed to keep your toes toasty.
*PLEASE NOTE: Rooster have now discontinued Almerino DK (November 2017) so if you are starting a Moody Blanket now I would recommend choosing a different DK weight yarn.*
YARN
Rooster Almerino DK.
Small Moody Blanket will require approx. 18x 50g balls plus 4x 50g balls for the border.
Large Moody Blanket will require approx. 34x 50g balls plus 5x 50g balls for the border.
NEEDLES
1 pair of 4mm (no 8) (US 6) needles.
TENSION
22 sts and 43 rows to 10cm measured over g st using 4mm (US 6) needles. Correct tension is not essential but will affect finished size.
FINISHED SIZE
Each square will measure approx. 20cm2 when knitted to tension stated.
Small blanket measures approx. 80cm (311/2 in) wide x 120cm (471/4 in) long.
Large blanket measures approx. 120cm (471/4 in) wide x 160cm (63 in) long.
