Buku Cerita dan Mewarnai Ashabul Kahfi: Kisah 7 Pemuda Beriman Tertidur 309 Tahun: Istana Indah Berlapis Emas
Ashabul Kahf was the name of a group of young believers who lived during the time of King Diqyanius in Rome, several hundred years before the sending of the Prophet Isa (as).
They lived among a pagan society under the leadership of the tyrannical King Diqyanius.
When King Diqyanius found out that there was a group of people who did not worship idols, he furiously ordered them to follow his beliefs.
But Ashabul Kahfi refused and ran away from the palace.
The royal troops chased them to be killed.
When they ran away from the king's troops, they came to the mouth of a cave and hid in it.
The seven young men had firm faith.
They worshiped and prayed while in seclusion in the cave.
Then Allah closed their hearing and sight while they were in the cave.
They had unknowingly slept for 309 years.
With Allah Ta'ala's permission, they were then put to sleep for 309 years in the cave.
Allah then resurrected them when their society and king had changed to kings whose people believed in Allah Ta'ala.
The story of Ashabul Kahfi has various versions from different sources.
Meanwhile, the story of Ashabul Kahfi in this book is based on information from Ali bin Abi Talib which was conveyed to three Jewish priests.
After hearing Ali bin Abi Talib's explanation, the three Jewish priests immediately converted to Islam.
Wallahu'alam bissawab.
Only Allah knows the real truth better.
