Out of Phase: Consciousness and The Limits of Reality

I have always asked myself what reality is.

Not in the passing sense that brushes against philosophy on a rainy Swedish evening but in the visceral way that interrupts breath and cuts through all form of sleep. What is this place I find myself in: What am I. What are these sensations that come and go like tides I speak not from abstraction but from obsession. This ebook is not a fiction. It is not speculation. Every idea I write down has been vetted through the rigorous corridors of existing knowledge within science, excluding experimental physics,

not my growing knowledge about cognitive neuroscience as well as information theory and empirical phenomenology have given me an urge to write this. But, my tone will be personal because the question of reality is personal. Right?

We do not experience reality in the third person.
