Anniversary Socks
The Anniversary Socks were inspired by my own seventh wedding anniversary. What better year for a knitter than the year of wool!
In sizes from baby to large adult, knit in West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply, these 2 colour socks are knit from the toe-up and use a heel flap and gusset construction for the heel.
A simple yet effective 3-cable design is used on the adult socks, with a more simple 1-cable version used for the smaller sizes. Sample is knit in the ‘Poppy Seed’ and ‘Owl’ colourways.
You can find tutorials for methods used in this pattern, along with information on yarn substitution, over on my blog at www.theconsciousknitter.com
