I'm starting to compose a collection of pieces using motifs and inspiration from Beethoven's "Für Elise." I've had too many students attempt to learn the piece before they have the necessary chops, so I thought I could write some pieces using elements of the original. I wrote this on New Year's Eve 2019 while my daughter was napping.
