Legend by Marie Lu Questions
These questions were designed to encourage engagement and attention to details while reading. Feel excitement as the questions are answered and produce higher quality talks regarding the book and the struggles of the characters.
Most of the pages contain five questions except for those small chapters.
The students are encouraged to answer the questions in complete sentences and write the number of the page in which they found their answer. With matching graphics correlating with the book the students will see more action in their minds eye.
There is also an added bonus to these chapter by chapter questions! A Venn diagram has been included to compare June and Day. Students will get to point out the similarities and differences of the characters. A character match is also included in which the students will read the names of Thomas, Day, June, Commander Jameson & Metias and draw a line to show which traits and brief description matches best each character. Students are also encourage to draw out June and Day the way they see them in their minds eye. Includes a book review page in which the students write what they learned reading the book, things they would change, things they knew would happen in the book. Page also asks if they would recommend the book and their feelings regarding the end of the book.
This resource is great for students reading alone or with a parent! It will produce fruitful conversations as you end each chapter.
All chapter questions can be started from any chapter since the questions do not include questions about previous chapters read.
