Zoe, a girl who loves making excuses, receives a magical backpack that eats her excuses and gives her tasks to do instead. At first, she finds the backpack bossy, but she soon learns that completing the tasks makes her feel accomplished. When the school talent show is announced, Zoe wants to participate but claims she has no talents. The backpack helps her discover her talent for juggling and encourages her to practice. On the day of the show, Zoe gets nervous, but the backpack reminds her of all the tasks she has already accomplished, giving her the confidence to perform. She does a great job and realizes that believing in herself is the best trick of all.
