These mittens are a sister pattern to the Garden Trellis Hat; done in the same yarn -- the
amazing Scuttleship Romney from Bobolink yarns. They are designed for four adult sizes, and a customizable cuff length, too!

With simple bobbles and post stitches, it's a good introduction to slightly more 'adventurous' crochet, while still being simple enough to work on while watching tv or commuting on the train.
The palm is done in alternating rows of sc and dc to create a denser fabric that helps protect the palm of your hands.
Pattern is written in US Terminology.

Pattern Notes:

The palm is done in alternating rows of sc and dc, so as to make the palm more stable and durable.  The bobbles and lace pattern runs up the centre back of the hand. The length of the cuff is adjustable to the wearer’s preference. These mitts are worked from the cuff to the top of the hand.  Stitches are increased to form the thumb gusset, and then the thumb is worked in rounds of HDC.

The Trellis Lace Stitch is both charted and written.
This crochet pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software, which includes the written instruction.
Pattern has been tech-edited.
