30 small experiments to help you discover what gets your brain moving.

There are days when running a business feels surprisingly straightforward.

Then there are the days when you know perfectly well what you need to do... but somehow you just can't seem to get yourself doing it.

Maybe there's one particular job you've been avoiding for weeks. Perhaps you've got so many things you could do that you can't start any of them. Or maybe your brain has simply decided that researching something completely irrelevant is today's top priority.

Whatever it is; you're stuck.

When that happens, sometimes you don't need a better plan.

You just need something else to try.

That's what 30 Ways to Get Unstuck is for.

Throughout November, I'll send you 30 different experiments, one each day, designed to give you another way of getting yourself moving.

Some are tiny, some are a bit daft, some might make an enormous difference to something you've been putting off for ages and some might do absolutely nothing for you.

That's the point.

No two brains work quite the same way, so I'm not going to give you one method and tell you it's the answer. Instead, you'll get 30 different things to experiment with. Give them a go, tweak them to suit you, and keep the ones that help. If you finish the month with half a dozen new ways of getting yourself unstuck that genuinely work for you, I'd call that a pretty good result.

What you'll get

From 1 November, you'll receive one experiment by email each day.

The whole experiment will be there in the email, so there's nothing else you have to log into or remember to visit.

You'll also get a downloadable version of each experiment. If it's a keeper, save it to your own Get Unstuck collection, ready to rummage through next time your brain isn't cooperating.

This has been created with neurospicy brains very much in mind, but you absolutely don't need a diagnosis or label to use it.

If you're a small business owner who sometimes gets stuck, you're invited.

And there is NO falling behind

This bit matters.

You don't have to open every email or complete all 30 experiments, and if you miss three days, you absolutely don't need to spend Saturday morning “catching up”.

Life is busy. I miss things too.

Just open the next one that catches your attention and carry on from there.

If you manage all 30, blimey, I'm impressed. 😂

If you try 12 and discover six that really work for you, fabulous.

And on 1 December, I'll send you a complete list of all 30 experiments and their download links. Not so you can suddenly give yourself 17 pieces of homework, but so you've got them whenever you fancy trying something you missed.

We're doing this together in November

Everyone who joins this time will start receiving their experiments on 1 November.

I'll also be chatting about some of them over in the free Brain-Friendly Business Club Community, so you're very welcome to join us there, compare notes and discover which experiments other brains loved, hated or adapted beyond recognition.

There's no additional programme or support to keep up with. It's simply there if you'd enjoy the company.

Why I created this:

This actually started life several years ago as a 30-day productivity challenge, but I've changed my mind about quite a lot since then.

These days, productivity feels far too closely related to pressure for me. I don't think most small business owners need another system telling them how they ought to organise themselves and I definitely don't think there's one correct way to get things done.

What I do know is that sometimes we get stuck.

So I've taken the useful bones of that old challenge, ditched the productivity pressure, and rebuilt it around something I believe much more strongly now:

When what you're doing isn't working, let's give something else a go.

You'll get your Start Here guide immediately after purchase, then we'll begin the experiments together on 1 November.
