These overlays is what I finish all my fine art photography with. OVERLAY Blends allow your photos to be softer, and blended together. Its ideal for composite photography, but absolutely the key to softer fine art photos. Add a blend blur to your outdoor grass landscape images. If you want the blur to be darker, just add several layers on your photo, and brush away the overlay to your taste.  

If you want to change the color, simply go into "filter" in photoshop, and then "camera raw filter", and it can be adjusted under the color mixer section.
