Fourth of July cartoon

This Fourth of July, we celebrate a bold declaration of freedom — but what about the freedom we keep meaning to claim and never do? This week's reflection explores a quieter kind of independence: freedom from the someday list, the unfinished projects, and the weight of all we keep putting off. The truth I keep returning to is that freedom was never about doing it all. It's choosing one true thing, beginning it, and lovingly setting the rest down. Come declare your own independence with me.
