Check It! was commissioned for the Cook Wissahickon Percussion Ensemble.
It is a high energy piece written for percussion bucket ensembles. The rhythms found throughout the piece are based off of 16th note check patterns. This piece can be used as a supplimental tool after the students have learned their basic 16th note check patterns, or as a fun method to help teach 16th note check patterns through music performance.
