Tempo Training

Tempo training, made famous by Charles Poliquin, manipulates time under tension in your workout is a simple but effective way to build muscle mass. You will use the 4 digit abbreviation, to show the timings of time under tension, for example, this program uses 31X1 in week 1, 2 and 3, in week 4 you use 41X1. Also remember when reps go back down in week 4, load up on weight. More information on tempo training is at the end of this document.
