🔩 MACHINING STRATEGY

The cycle automatically performs the operation in two controlled stages.

1 — ROOT ROUGHING

Multiple synchronized threading passes progressively machine from the major diameter down to the programmed minor diameter.

2 — 45° BUTTRESS FLANK

Once the root is complete, the cycle progressively shifts the tool in X and Z to generate the required 45° flank.

Each calculated position receives a complete synchronized threading pass.

ROOT → MINOR DIAMETER → 45° FLANK → FINISHED BUTTRESS PROFILE

The Fanuc version includes a compact G65 call controlling the complete operation from one programmable line.

Simply edit the required thread dimensions and machining values.
