1. Students brainstorm what they think are the top 10 practical skills all people should know how to do.

2. Watch a video and see how many they got that are similar to the video ranking. Discuss.

3. Checklist. Students fill out the survey of things they know how to do. Share answers and discuss with others.

4. Use the templates. Students choose one thing from the checklist or use all the prepared templates (some with video to check after) and write out the how to steps.
