venous access devices: Results from a multicenter

Background or Introduction
The authors purpose statement was “to determine the non-inferiority of normal saline flushing compared to heparin flushing in maintaining the patency of totally implanted venous access devices (TIVADs) (Dal Molin, A., Clerico, M., Baccini, M., Guerretta, L., Sartorello, B., & Rasero, L., 2015). The purpose statement does make sense and it is easy to comprehend the healthcare problem. There is an abstract at the beginning of the article that is clearly structured.  It also provided enough information on the subject for me to become interested in the topic. The article also includes an introduction of the topic, the introduction is clearly bolded at the beginning of the article. However the introduction does not seem to be as organized as other articles that I have seen in the past.
