Image fractals

The word fractal means 'fraction form' and comes from the Latin words range and Fractus, "to fracture, break" and "fractured". Mandelbrot was the first one to use this term in the beginning of the 70's. The fractal object is portrayed with repeated procedures that determine and specify the object and the details, particulars of its parts. In theory, the procedures are repeated infinitely, but in practice, the amount of repeats must have a finite limit. The Mandelbrot set is a mathematical set, a collection of numbers. These numbers are different than the real numbers that you use in everyday life. They are complex numbers. A complex number consists of a real number plus an imaginary number.
