ZTZ-96

The ZTZ 96 is a second generation main battle tank (MBT) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), developed as a more cost effective and lighter alternative to the advanced ZTZ-99. It is armed with a 125mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader and features an upgraded fire control system, making it a capable and reliable workhorse for the Chinese military.
