Curragh Hat (PDF Knitting Pattern)
♫ The Music ♫
The Curragh of Kildare is a traditional ballad based on poem by Robbie Burns. Like so many ballads it tells the story of young love. The intertwining cables seem a perfect representation for the complicated nature of relationships.
Knit in the round from the bottom up, this hat is chock full of cable fun. The thick yarn makes it a quick knit a large or small crowning pom pom adds a final fun touch! A template with instructions for creating the pom poms is included.
Some cables are worked on alternate rounds while others are crossed every round.
