The Monkey’s Paw by W.W. Jacobs

On a stormy night, an old soldier brings the White family a strange gift: a shriveled monkey’s paw that can grant three wishes. He begs them to throw it in the fire. Instead, Mr. White wishes for two hundred pounds, and nothing seems to happen. Then a stranger knocks at the door.

The classic tale that taught the world to be careful what you wish for, retold for readers aged 12+ and illustrated in colored pencil.
