The 'Kids With Guns' series focuses on gun control in America and what's happening with violence in the school system. Book 1 is focused on the mass school shooting, what happened, and various character's emotions and feelings after it happens. Book 2 is the aftermath of the school shooting, you're introduced to the shooter's parents and the shooters themselves. Book 3 is the trial of Matthew and Max, all of the emotions that happens with the trial, the community and the stories continuing from the perspective of so many people who have crossed Matthew and Max's paths. Book 4 is the aftermath of the trial and the community and city trying to get back to some normalcy. Book 5, the last book of the series is focused on gun control and different character's thoughts and feelings on it and what can done.
