This is a body scan guided meditation using breathing as the main tool to calm the mind. The intention is to help you connect with your body to allow a deep relaxation state. Find a comfortable place where you can spend a few minutes by yourself and follow my voice to the best of your ability. If you drift away at any point just go back and notice your breathing. You can count up to 4 when inhaling to help you breathe slowly, then hold the breath for the count of 2, and then exhale slowly to the count of 4. That will help you to calm the mind and your thoughts will slow down as your breathing slows down. It is normal to get distracted, so just be patient and keep practicing.
