The Catholic church makes many claims that I believe run contrary to the scripture. This particular presentation examines part of the Catholic online catechism and offers rebuttals to those claims that I believe counter the teaching of the Bible, especially when it comes to salvation.
This is not intended to be a thorough evaluation of the entire catechism but rather a challenge to the Catholics to study for themselves what the Bible teaches rather than allowing a Pope, bishop, priest or other leader in the church do it for you. I believe that both Catholics and Protestants are guilty of neglect to obey God's words; "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
We will give an account to God for neglecting this command and for what we believe the Bible is saying to us. It is nobody else but us who will be made to answer for it. We must change!
