Content Description

A young, very attractive guy is dropped off at the hospital by an Uber. The moment he steps out of the car, we know this is going to be a remarkable sighting! He is wearing shorts with a black-and-white leaf pattern, which perfectly complements the almost snow-white short leg cast (SLC) we spot on his foot a moment later.

As he moves past us, leaning on his crutches, we can see that it is a split short leg cast secured with a white bandage.

He heads inside the hospital, takes the elevator, and goes to the registration desk. There, he is informed that he is in the wrong department. So, he takes the elevator back down on his crutches and heads to what is presumably the correct registration area. We watch him closely the entire time, keeping our eyes on his cast—and its wonderful toe plate—throughout.

Next, he goes to the waiting room. There, we spend several minutes observing how he handles his injured foot. He puts on earbuds and fiddles with his phone, passing the time until he is finally called into the casting room.

About 30 minutes later, he comes back out. To our surprise, his cast has been changed to a synthetic one! Still leaning on his crutches, we now see his lower leg encased in a fresh, white fiberglass short leg cast—and this cast, too, features a truly beautiful toe plate! A magnificent specimen!

He crutches past us into the waiting room. We watch him for quite a while there as well. He is called into the casting room once more—likely just for a quick chat or a check-up to ensure the cast fits properly and isn't pressing against his leg anywhere.

He leaves the hospital with his new companion, and we watch him get into an Uber that will take him safely home.

This sighting is truly a highlight!
